Imran Khan

Imran Khan is a prominent Pakistani politician and former cricketer, best known for serving as the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan from 2018 until 2022. He was born on October 5, 1952, and first gained international fame as a cricketer, leading the Pakistani national team to its first World Cup victory in 1992. After retiring from cricket, Khan transitioned into politics and founded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party in 1996, advocating for anti-corruption and reform.

Khan’s political career has been marked by his populist style and focus on issues such as economic development, social justice, and foreign policy aimed at boosting Pakistan’s standing in the global arena. His leadership saw challenges, including economic instability and social unrest, as he aimed to implement his vision for a “Naya Pakistan” (New Pakistan).
