International Relations

International Relations (IR) is the study and practice of the interactions, relationships, and dynamics between sovereign states, as well as non-state actors, international organizations, and other entities on the global stage. It encompasses various aspects such as diplomacy, conflict resolution, international law, trade, and global governance. The field examines how countries engage with one another, the impact of international policies, the influence of power dynamics, and the role of cultural, economic, environmental, and social factors in shaping global affairs. The study of international relations is interdisciplinary, drawing from political science, history, economics, sociology, and law, among other fields, to understand complex international issues and develop strategies for cooperation and conflict management.
